Combine a mixture of writing styles, musical genres, vocal talents, producers, lyrical concepts...and you get 'Election Day' - a mix tape written for the people, by the people". Tori's songwriting and production team, The Senate, have been busy writing and recording new material for their mixtape, 'Election Day'.

Each month, The Singer's Universe 'Best Vocalist of the Month' competition honors and publicizes the top vocalists from around the world. This month, Tori was selected as a runner-up for her vocal performance in 'Morning Will Come', an original song co-writtem with Pam Reswick.

After a spectacular week of sporting events and team achievement, Tori joined over 5,000 athletes and volunteers from around the country at the 'Special Olympics National Games' Closing Ceremony, held at the Dome. Tori performed the theme song, "So My Time To Shine" and was also featured as a guest performer with Australian Idol finalist, Toby Moulton.

'Sunshine, written by Senate member Tori (and co-written with Michele Vice-Maslin and Larry Treadwell) just recently featured in Nickelodeon's Emmy-award winning show, Victorious! The episode, 'Cat's New Boyfriend' first aired on Nickelodeon on October 8, with 2.9 million viewers tuning into the show! The episode repeats reguarly on Nickelodeon channels around around the world - so tune in and enjoy!

For five seasons, Niki played the role of 'Deena', to on-and-off-again girlfriend of Simon Camden on the Warner Bro's hit TV show, 7th Heaven, produced by Aaron Spelling. For the past 3 years, Niki has been intensely writing and recording a catelogue of songs - and just recently spent a few days in the studio collaborating with Tori.

In April, South Australia welcomed athletes with an intellectual disability from around Australia, for a week of companionship, excitement and competition at the Special Olympics IX National Games. Over 850 Special Olympics athletes, their families and coaches enjoyed a week of spectacular competition in 12 Olympic sports at a range of venues around the city.. Tori was invited to be the "voice" of the Special Olympics National Games theme song, "So My Time To Shine". On 19 April, Tori performed, along with Georgia Horgan and the Tutti Ensemble, at the Opening Ceremony, held at the Dome. Tori was also featured as a guest vocalist with Australia's Got Talent winner, Mark Vincent.
